About the role
This role sits between the board and the site. You will take initiatives that look obvious on paper and make them work on an active programme, where the crew is already busy and the schedule has no slack in it.
It suits someone who has run change before and knows that the hard part is adoption, not design. You will have direct access to project directors and the authority to stop an initiative that is not earning its keep.
What you will do
- Lead operational change programmes across the construction and industrial divisions.
- Build the business case for each initiative and defend it in front of the board.
- Work alongside site leadership so changes survive contact with an active programme.
- Define the measures that tell us whether a change actually worked.
- Coach project teams through the transition rather than handing over a document.
What we are looking for
- Six or more years in construction, engineering or industrial operations.
- Track record of delivering change on live projects, not just in strategy decks.
- Comfortable reading a programme, a cost plan and a risk register.
- Clear written communication — our reports fit on one page.
- Willing to spend real time on site rather than managing from an inbox.
